Join John Cartwright

for a viewing of Sisters of '78

“Last month, a dozen of us labour veterans experienced an amazing play about the women who organized at Fleck Manufacturing in 1978 and went on strike, facing off against over 500 OPP officers sent to break their strike. It is one of the best working-class plays I have ever seen. The playwright captured all the emotions, anger and joy of people organizing, facing uncertainty and possible defeat, along with the dynamics of women's struggle for equality in the 1970's.

I am willing to book a block of tickets for anyone who wants to come to Hamilton on Saturday, October 17th, or Sunday, October 18th, for the 1:30 pm matinee.

The bulk price is $72 per ticket for ten or more.

Please contact me directly if you are interested in attending and which day.

Solidarity,
