Craig Heron, a leading labour and working class historian – and president of the Toronto Workers’ History Project – reflects on the change in the academic approach to labour history from focus on institutions to a more multidisciplinary style.   Heron discusses the role of historians in society and his own experience as a faculty member at York University.
